Good news for Chuwi fans. In a recent press release the well-known Asian tablet manufacturer has just announced that they are already working on the Chuwi Hi9 Pro, an improved version of the recent 2K tablet with dual SIM that the company launched in April of this year.
What do we know about the Chuwi Hi9 Pro?
For now there are not many data that have been released. At first, it seems that it will be a somewhat smaller version, keeping many of the characteristics – if not all – of the original Hi9 Air.
- CPU: Mediatek Hello X20
- GPU: T880 780 Mhz
- Screen: 8.4 inch 2K 2560 * 1600
- Screen appearance: 16:10, fully laminated
- Size: 217.4 * 128.9 * 7.9mm

- GPS: compatible
- Camera: 5MP front, 8MP rear, autofocus
- Bluetooth: Version 4.1
- Ports: 1 * Usb Type-C 2.0, 1 * headphone jack
With these specifications on the table, we would only know how much RAM and internal space will fit the new Chuwi Hi9 Pro, in addition to the capacity of your battery. No information has yet been revealed in this regard – you already know that the best is always usually saved for last – so it is likely that the surprise will come to us through any of these sections in future announcements by the company.
The original version of the Chuwi Hi9 Air equips a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM duplex (expandable by card), and a 8000mAh battery with type C USB charging. Will there be improvements in this regard? Let’s hope so.
Meanwhile, there we have the original Hi9 Air, a mid-range tablet that seems to be giving very good results, and which we can currently get for a price that varies between 170 and 250 euros ($ 200-290 to change) in places like GearBest, Amazon or AliExpress.
